TonyTurboII 07-31-2002 01:15 AM

Yes, it has the ZR-2 suspension package. 3 inches of suspension lift, 100mm wider track, and 31 inch tires.

That's not an suv, that's a bus. Does it have the high pitched beep when you put it in reverse? Does it even fit in your garage? Doesn't look like it from the pictures...

UniqueTII 07-31-2002 09:43 AM

That's pretty spiffy....the ZR2 package is pretty nice, too...

Rotarydragon 07-31-2002 10:24 AM

Not bad!

*looks around* Don't tell anyone but I love my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Shhhhh!

Wider track due to the fact it has the rear/front end from the full size blazer on it, good luck with it!

vosko 07-31-2002 07:06 PM

looks cool in a suv sorta way https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

No it does not beep.

Yes it will fit in the garage.

Its less than 6 inches longer than my Mom's 2 door Grand Am.

Its hardly a bus. If you want to call a SUV a bus, make sure its a Suburban/YukonXL/Excursion. You want to call my SUV a bus, ill test my flex on your hood. And yes, it will make it up on your hood.

I decided I rally couldnt afford the Lightning.

I dunno how far the Rx7 has been pushed back, atlest a month or two, ive got a fat tax to pay on this Blazer. AutoZone carrys APC, hook me up with some clear corners for a 98+ S-10.

Heh, chill out dude, I was just giving you (well deserved) ****. You posted your SUV purchase on a sportscar forum, what did you expect? Congrats on your purchase!! You're supporting the booming SUV craze, which killed off the sportscar market!! Hooray!! Hooray for the oil industry!!

I hate all Overpowered Minivans, but you're right, those particular 3 are the worst. Hopefully you will take that vehicle out off-roading like it belongs, and not just drive it back and forth to work like the typical 98% of SUV owners.

The people who buy sports cars have grown up and had families, thus the need for something that will haul them around. That more then anything killed off sports cars for the time being.

When the GenXers finally (if ever) pull their heads out of their collective arses and get money enough to buy sports cars the market should come back a bit.

As for me, the Sport Trac is pretty much perfect for what I need. It hauls, seats 4, has space for as much cargo as I'll ever haul around most days.

And yeah, I do take it off road from time to time, plus it snows here.

No I don't think 4x4 means I can plow through the snow at 80mph and stop on a dime.

Its a Chevrolet Blazer. RPO ZR2 suspension package. I think with a 4 inch suspension lift 33's will fit nicely.

Wooffinn 08-06-2002 05:30 AM

Hey Tony, thanks for that man. That lift kit your thinking of sounds the business. Just remember the tailshaft/uni joint angles though! Hey you might be pushing to get it in the shed after that!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

TonyTurboII 08-06-2002 05:09 PM

Yeah, have to change the input angle on the rear end. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
