Ok I have a 84/12A

( plz dont move this to the 1st gen sections)

Im running a Holley/RacingBeat on a 600 dbl pumper

I put a 1in spacer under it and from what I can remeber..

A spacer under the carb is for bottom end torque..and acceleration...

Is this true?

And when im like in 3rd gear and hit it hard..sometimes it stumbles on it self..Do I need to rejet the secondaries bigger?

Since im going to the track tomorrow..and this is good in fast accelrations..should I keep this set up..or switch?I was gonna bring tools to the track...

Has anyone done this spacer set up? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

Shouldn't this be in 1st gen section?

I posted it here..cause no one reads the first gen section but maybe 3 people..I posted it here..to get a fast response..But it seem sno one knows anything about it either..thanks..now it can be moved..

your right about the spacer but you really dont need that considering rotaries love to be high in the rpm range so the spacer really wont help much for racing.

now that problem your having is just a tunning problem but if you jet the carb for better low end response your gonna lose a bit at the top

Everything you ever wanted to know about carbs, port timing and a bunch of other good things.

I have his site printed out...now if I could only memorize it all and put it to use https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
