ambassador_josh 06-06-2005 04:34 AM

m249? Never shot one before, but when I was in HS they were deadly in Delta Force 2 deathmatches lol

jspecracer7 06-06-2005 04:49 AM

YAWWNNN....Get a TRC-170 V2 to fire up and your ass is mine! Can you say 1000 watts of RF?

93 R1 06-06-2005 07:14 AM

I'd love to shoot one of those damn things. Coolest full-auto **** I've shot was a supressed mp5, uzi, and tommy gun.

Rotarydragon 06-06-2005 08:20 AM

Is it just me or is everyone else terrified of the idea of Bigtime shooting fully automatic weapons? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Awesome, hope you're enjoying the military. I probably should have joined in my younger days.

l8t apex 06-06-2005 08:37 AM

So you guys killed a deer or what? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Throw a towel on your target and spray the hot zone.

Commence firing.

Cease fire.

Clear your weapon.

Do the rag head dance and shake it all about. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

u should be afraud, be very afriad

sbertolone 06-06-2005 07:26 PM

i'd probably say the m240b is the funnest, just because the things is a real effort to control, the 249 doesnt even move, it took me 2 tries, but i got expert off the hood of a humvee, then expert off the pintle and expert off the ground, its a blast to shoot. the m2 50 cal is bad ass too, but its mounted... actually the mk19 automatic grenade launcher is ******* sweet

Apex13B 06-06-2005 08:58 PM

my angel and the omen fires way faster. Little less lethal though :-)

My brother in law is in the army too. Keep shooting and keep protecting the free world

93 R1 06-07-2005 10:03 AM

My friend is a machine gun instructor at Quantico. I tried to get him to take me on a "tour" but he said it aint gonna happen

89 Rag 06-07-2005 09:06 PM

I have always been fond of the M79 and of course the M1 Garand, det cord is a close third in a tie with thermal grenades.

they are obviously not called "infantrymen , or riflemen", but they are part of the infantry

I just retired from the Army with 20 years. It was fun. I was an 11B, master parachutist on status for 10 years, 2 as an instructor, and 8 as training and operations. A ripped patella tendon and dislocated knee cap took me out of the "Real Army" and i had to finish behind a desk. But I got a lot of memories and stories to tell.

If you go Airborne keep your feet and knees together, don't think you can be a Sky God forever. I had over 200 static line jumps and I still got taken out. I guess my old bones couldn't take it anymore.

banzaitoyota 06-09-2005 11:15 AM

thats what u get for jumping out of perfectly good airplanes

sweet7 06-09-2005 04:38 PM

Bigtime, screw the tab, come get the scroll. Tab is a school, scroll is a way of life. RLTW

I'm part of a Scout/Sniper outfit with 75th Ranger Regiment. Kinda like SF, just a different mission.

When are you planning on going to Selection Bigtime? I'm definately debating going when I get back from Iraqistan. Its a tough decision though, Ft. Living Room or SF https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Did you see the re-up bonus for SF warrant officers........$150,000

**** yeah man...thats sweet

sbertolone 06-14-2005 03:25 PM

im support, but i do way more humping then the regular joe in my company. my brigade now has an artillery battallion in it, my battallion has a ******* maintance company part of it. mortars are ******* sweet, how can you call those guys support, we have 60s in my company, and they can direct lay damn close, close enough to where the mortar tube will be next to a guy firing a rifle, sure they arent going to clear buildings with a 60 but they also carry their m4. and artillery is the king of battle. those guys can wear some **** out. theres a pre ranger course on my post also.
