so i have a few days to think about this. usually its not really an issue, but i cant quite decide
ive been offered a pro7 car in trade for my 91. the pro7 car is an 84ish non sunroof car, needs basically nothing except some tinkering and an exhaust, ive got a PP 12A for it, well its in the mail https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png , etc etc the 91, is a nice driver, but it still needs a manual trans swap, and some finishing, but it would end up a nice car, and ive got tonnes of shite for it. (s5 side skirts, volks, 60-1, miata geared trans, etc etc), it eventually would need paint, and an engine but not for a couple years. so do i start over? both cars need paint, the pro7 would get it now, the fc can wait, both cars get engines, the fc again, can wait. blah blah |
PRO 7!!!!

Well, you could drive the FB more, rather than fixing the FC to make it 5spd ect. so take the FB.
And yes that dress makes you look fat. |
the FB is not a street car is it?

Go for the p-port... I have been driving my p-port Fc on the street for a little over a month or so.. Its kick ass and when set up right, its very driveable.. I find it to be a lot more controllable dow win low than even a half bridge, it will also idle lower than a half bridge. When its cold, it ticks over at about 700 rpm and comes to about a 1200-1300 idle.. I am using 1600 cc injectors and even so, its pretty docile down low..
It will make bottom end and midrange that will shock you silly and pull till the cows come home.. After building it and driving it, I can honestly say about 99% of the stuff other people say and read on the internet about them is 99% bs... The only 1% fact is they are loud and they need to breath... A stripped fb and a p-port would be the cats ass.. The fc i did was a gx, or an se if you are south, its one of the lighter fc's, a base with no sunroof would have been the ultimate, but with no pw, ps, and the lighter carpet etc etc, its a fairly quick.. Going from big turbo to pport na makes you change your driving habits quite a bit, you see 9500 rpm go by and you just stick in it and it keeps accelarating. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif |

I know where there a a couple P-Ports!!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
