Yeah im going to the track on Friday..do you guys think open header will give me more? I got a RacingBeat road race header and thinking about doing some passes open header..Whats the risk..besides going deaf before im 30?

When I worked at the dealership and put on my header..I drove about 5 miles open header scared as ****..people 5 blocks down was looking around before I was close... :rice:

I did the same on my '85, only it was for about 40 miles round trip. The only real problem, other that the obnoxious noise is that the floor board gets extremely hot, my carpet began to smolder just before I got home! I dont think a few runs down the track will hurt. I drove my TII around with an open down pipe one night and talk about loud. God Damn it's loud and the turbo sounds like a siren as it's winding down. I thought I was busted the first time I heard it.
