Was at the local watering hole last night and one guy asked what my car was, the other guy said no way Mazda never made a sports car. I told him I had a twin turbo 1 liter 2 cyl engine. He says you mean 4 cycl. I explain I get a discount on my insurance for 2 cycl. He still argues and says the dealer lied to me. He asks me how many pisstons, so I try to explain the engine but he cant grasp it. I drw it for him and he calls the rotor a pisston. He says it's physically impossible for an engine not to have pisstions. He says there has to be something slaming for the compustion and there for there has to be pisstons. I explain it rotates, does not go up and down. His brain short circuits and freeks. Man, ignorance is bliss. This guy was in bliss heaven. His buddy said the eccentric shaft was the pisston. How do you get a spark without the pisston? uh duh, the spark plug maybe. How does the exhaust get slamed out of the engine when the isston goes up? There's no slam, the rotor rotates and thats why they call it a rotary.
