Here's the deal. I now own a shop. Actually there are 3 of us. I wanted to get our name out on the web, so WITH MY VERY LIMITED HTML/Frontpage knowledge, I threw something together. It's simple, relatively easy to navigate, but pretty shallow as far as info goes. I'll be updating it nearly daily as I put together more pages and info..



I'd like some ideas. Opinions, whatever. I can take criticizm... just don't be TOO mean lol.

Yessir, i also made money and was given tons of free **** because of it.



I've got 1 of 3 Louisville Slugger GTA3 limited edition bats in my room, along witht ons of free t-shirts posters and the GTA series itself. Along with playing/demoing GTA3 and GTA3:VC before even the magazine editors.

at the top time of it's life we were doing thousands of gb's of transfer a week and seeing 100K's of visitors a day. now it's just a memory of the past, im still known in that "scene" and still bothered to bring it back to life.



then i got into cars more and felt videogames childish, plus I was getting bored being 1 of 2 big sites in that specific games oinline community. since i left it to other people they killed it off bsically and now there's TONS of gta3 sites.

Man I love GTA3 I put an FC in GTA3 but It sounded like a V8 because all the mergers that modified the sound files in GTA3 wouldn't work properly.



Some other guy had an FC shell, so I reskinned it, and made the sounds, everything was awesome until I couldn't actually import the sound files.

Oh intreresting. Honestly. But let us not fill 9Base's topic with talking of such foolishness, i ask that this be taken to PM or Aim.

Well I can tell from the design that's Kevin can get pretty technical with stuff so.. 9BASE3 should keep touch with you..

that design was when the whole "simplicity" design idea was the in thign to do, looking over previous designs ive had much better oens in the past.

I'm really looking for functionality and simplicity. Sure it's great if it has all kinds of flash media, neat animation and vivid color... But does it deliver what you are trying to sell? That's what I want. I'd like for any ******* to log on, find my shop and be able to navigate around and find what they want without being harassed by RAM eating graphics and animation that might drive them away.. I know it pisses me off when a page has too much going on.. I'd rather a dial-up friendly site.. (I know.. I know..) Down the road I may add a little more action, but I think I'll keep it simple for now.. Besides, the easier it is to navigate and use, the easier it is for an idiot like me to fix if it breaks!!

good idea for coding webpages btw, GET WIRED. like tons of coffee or perhaps your drug of choice, sit down late at night so theres no distractions and go crazy.



it allows for some unique design as well as a good thought process on how to make some amazing results, thats how i code most of the CGI and SSI and **** i use on my sites, you start seeing code as like a puzzle and you start fidning inventive ways to get complicated **** don easily.



i cant explain it, but it works.
