Oh **** We Missed Nopistons.com's 8th Birthday!
#1
Damn it was July 21st 2000 that Nopistons.com opened it's doors.
So what to chit chat about?
We now have:Our members have made a total of 1,665,998 posts
We have 35,241 registered members
I hope that I can afford to keep the doors open for another 9! It's been an interesting trip no doubt about. I never had any intentions of turning nopistons into a profitable business model, in fact quite the opposite my one and only goal was to break even and provide a place for people to let loose and talk about rotaries, free of the restrictions found on so many other forums on the internet. We've managed to ban very few members and still keep the place hospitable, I find that to be an accomplishment in itself. As far as breaking even, well I've come pretty close in the overall run even if we do running at a deficit right now I've always put the profits aside to save for these rainy days.
So if you get a chance to thank all the faces that have kept this mess going do so.
I'll take this opportunity to thank the staff, those that have donated and those that have contributed in any form, not just monetary.
