"What do you think about the French?"
"Huh? "The French. The Colonial bastards who is sucking your live corpuscles." "Look mister. It cost two hundred francs to suck my corpuscule. Haven't lowered my rates since the year of the rindpest when all the tourists died..." Excerpted from Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs |

Yea however you don't talk about it, you just quote a line from it, so it gives me no insight to the book. |
I am reading "Once there was a war" by John Steinbeck right now. Its quite good. Basically a bunch of short stories, collection of articles he wrote during wwII. Its a good read.

Would it kill you for once to make your most intelligent remark of the day originate from an orifice other than your sphincter? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif |
I recently read "The Monster at the end of this Book", starring lovable, furry old Grover. It was pretty suspenseful, but had quite a twist at the end! I won't ruin it, you should check it out! I promise it won't scare you though, LOLOL!!!!

This book really made my day back in 1993 - ish |
I read Genesis and Job of the Bible yesterday. God built the world in 7 days then...took a rest. Job had problems then God gave him some more kids as a...reward.

its an eddie izzard bit where he points out that god made the world in 7 days, THEN waited 65million years, then made dinosaurs, then put them all inside a stone, then waited AGAIN, and then made phinsup. |

Amazon’s reviews of the King James Bible. 1. “Excellent Special FX throughout” 2. “The best fantasy epic since Lord of the Rings” 3. “There aren’t enough good fights” 4. “Three stars, because the paper was too thin” 5. “One of the most disjointed novels I’ve read in a long while” 6. “Almost preachy in tone” 7. “Good ending” 8. “The Lord hath no scorn like the scorn reserved for one-star reviewers” 9. “Who wrote this thing, Michael Moore?” 10. “Definitely not his best work” |

It changes everything when you picture people in the bible as super heros. I wanna see what that tramp Lillith will do next! But I can't find anything online...
|
Myths from the bible are even more fucked up than the stuff in it sometimes!
"According to the legends, Lilith was an evil, wicked woman who committed adultery with Satan and produced a race of evil creatures. None of this is true. There is no biblical basis whatsoever for these concepts. There is no one in the Bible named Lilith." Someone could've taken her out in the 16th century...I wanna see some evil creatures! |
