Okay so all you fuckers who didn't come to NOPI, I'll tell you a little bit about my day.



So I get there at about 9:30 and head straight to the 300ZX section, because around there are where all the really nice cars are. Sure enough, a few FDs. Couldn't speak with the owners because they weren't around.



Also, in the middle of the Nissans, an R33 GT-R. Good God.



I have a friend whose WRX is in the show, so I stopped by to say hey. On the way, I see 4 FCs grouped together. I talked with the owner of the lone convertible. He says he's avid on the "Evil Forum." I was wearing my Nopistons shirt, so maybe he'll hang out here a lot more. Apparently he's only in the 2nd gen section on here.



I volunteered (haha, if this is really work) to help ROTC with the event so I got a free weekend pass...all I had to do was check people in from 1-5, so I got to see a lot of the nice cars. Well, on my way to report, I see a silver RX-8. Immediately the guy takes the engine cover off and starts a conversation with me. A really nice guy, we talked a little bit about the power issues, and he says to anyone who questions the car: "drive it." What's even cooler than the fact that he had an RX-8 is that his other car is a 3G Eclipse. It was on display in the Motegi booth.



I didn't have time to snap a whole lot of pics with my new lense, but tomorrow I'll have plenty.



I'll post the ones I think are the best...I'm sure some people will be able to appreciate them.
