Hey, Unique, how much did your paint job cost you? Isn't the paint like $1000 a gal.? Looks cool though.
He told me his car came like that. I remember hearing of prices around $80 for a pint.

Are you sure that price isn't for a quart? The Dupont Chromalusion paints retail for about $600/quart.
$800/pint was what it cost 4 years ago, when it was a new idea. Someone told me that it only takes a couple pints to paint a car with it, because you have to mix it with a color, but I don't think that's right. NAPA has color-change paint for $350/quart that looks pretty decent.

Well, that, and the fact that I'll need to have the engine built while it's out...might as well get the tranny done, too.

If the transmission is working fine I wouldn't mess with it.
