Good work, I'd bet that a house forum would tell you to put the money into the car!!!

House is a good investment. Keep the car in the garage or the living room if possible!

I was just under the impression that modular homes depreciated. (at least that's what I was told in personal finance class https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif) |
This is where you have to use your intellagence to seperate the truth from the crap they throw at you in school.
Joe-BOB and Betty-Lou buy a 26K Single wide and park it in the trailerpark = BIG TIME depreciation Johnney and Suzey shell out 80K for a modular and set it up with a permanent foundation on land = REAL ESTATE |

I'll be a white land-owner, then I can vote! |
Damn LINCOLN and GRANT!!! They ruined a good thing in the South

House, you can borrow against the equity you build in your house to do your car.
So you and your car both win! |

SpecialT is not a feller..

Man get a house! You can allways come back to your car and do things to it.A house is more important than a car dont ya think.
|
You have to either get a helluva deal on the house, or do a lot of work to get equity right away.
Good choice, though!! |
Well, 10,000 down is a good start!
|
...house, for sure...
although correct about home equity loan or line of credit, I wouldn't do it unless you are disciplined financially and you immediately pay off any balances, and especially don't do it unless you're gonna cut up your credit cards 'cause it can fast get outta control.....so I've been told (cough!)[ahem!]... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png fritz |
Plus.. You can be certain you will have a safe place to keep your car once you do get it.. and you can kill anyone who tries to nab it if they are on your property..

With interest rates down and home values in the toilet, now is an excellent time to purchase a home. When the market finally recovers you will have the equity in your home to do a home equity loan, if you choose to do so.
|
let me borrow a money so i buy a car
