ok before anyone thinks that SRCE, Eyxom and myself are getting into a verbal war. I have PM'd them both, and explained my views better and with a more even head.
I must apologize to SRCE and other muslims that are here. My comments were made in anger. They do not reflect how I view all Muslim and Middle eastern people. I don't want the entire city removed from existence. I know that what is being done is the work of extremists, and they do not reflect the true teachings of the quran.
SRCE sent some nasty things my way implying that I know nothing of his religon or that of others. Well as I Informed him I do. I have read on many religons and have found that I need none of them to help me get through my day, or show me how to live a better life. I actually do go to church with a friend of mine every so often. I listen to what other poeple have to say.
My thing is many middle eastern people are being taught a corrupt view of Islam and thats sad. I know the teachings do not promote killing and hate. however In many briefings I have been in several Religous leader in the middle east say that the teachings do not say kill. then they talk about how great it is that americans have been killed and more should die. I have had personal exp. with these kinds of people, they scare me.
The question I think that needs asking and a good answer is. If so many Muslims and middle eastern people think is so bad what the extremists are doing then why are they not saying much or doing much about it?
