in the last 2 weeks i read the book "a short history of nearly everything" by bill bryson. having read one of his other books (in a sunburned country), i was expecting this to be a light easy read, it is not. it is quite litterally a history of nearly everything, from the big bang to fritz zwicky. the book is laid out chronologically so we littlerally start at zero pass and end now. its fascinating to see the scientific arguements and theories progress thru time.
