Well I waivered on this one, but decided that I would go for a cheaper Epiphone Les Paul and buy a Gibson down the road when I'm good enough to have the better guitar make difference.

I wish I had an ounce of musical talent and a little time to practice. I've had my Yamaha bass for a few years now, and I can play Happy Birthday, and I've almost got the Monkees' "Steppin' Stone" down. LOL.
|
It takes a lot of practice. I noticed a HUGE difference when I started playing every day. I play at least a half hour every day, usually more. I take my little rover with me when I work and play for a full 8 hours LOL
I am going to start some lessons here in the next couple weeks to learn some musical theory and help identify the areas i can improve. |
nice! i think those epi's are actually quite good, the real gibsons are kinda spotty. you will want to upgrade the pickups in it, the stockers sound kinda muddy
|
Yea, i'm looking at getting a pickup for my acoustic too so maybe i'll hook them both up. Any recommendations for a bridge pickup conversion for a regular acoustic?

Well I got it today and I am so impressed I don't know where to begin, I mean it's a nice piece of equipment, mine was actually made in Indonesia, then they apparently set it up in the US at the Gibson factory, there's a tag on the back that says tested and something in the US. Again, I can't begin to say how much of a value this sucker is I really feel like I stole it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif It's a beauty. I threw some slinky strings on, but didnt get much time to play it.
