Well the tranny was getting much worse on the 10th AE, mine are are still stuck in St. Louis and I can't get a hold of Twin89Stangs so I figured I better stop driving the 10th AE and fix my Jeep. As always parts were cheap, bought two new loaded brake calipers, with pads and new everything $48 each. Bought brand new rotors, $29.00 each, they gave me the older styl dipstick and tub I wanted and the alternator bracket. Installed all of the parts, changed the fluid in the rear end... dman nice to be able to stop! Having owned the vehicle for 8 years I was wishing I had of spent the money a long time ago, nice to slam on the brakes and not be transported into the other lane! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
Now I just need to replace the upper radiator hose and the heater core and it's back to 100% |
good stuff.

Yea, I have had my CJ-7 for 8 years, have turned every bolt on the fucker, no ****. I used to tear it apart and put it back together cause things weren't the way I liked it, but it has taken a lot of abuse.... a lot of abuse LOL.
I just rebuilt the 258, bored it .040, but the weber 2 stage carb on it.. damn it is nice, plenty of HP that is for sure. |
Its nice being able to crawl under your vehicle without using jackstands.
