take a voltometer to the PSU and see what the rails are pushing for power.
Or unplug it from the mobo and everything ecept a fan or two and use a paperclip to jump the grey wire to the green wire on the mobo plug and plug it in. If the fans kick on the PSU is fine. |

My motor blew up... Just happy it was your computer instead. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

AMD or pentium? Sounds like a failsafe kicking in, like an AMD heat sensor detecting a lack of cooling or a dead fan. If i leave my waterpump off my comp shuts off after 2 seconds.

Sounds like a bad power supply and/or motherboard. Swap out the power supply and see if it works, if not, check the board with a meter.

ive only got 400 something invested in my box, build it yourself and enjoy.
watercool it bitch https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
It could be any number of things.
Check the motherboard while it's plugged in...most have lights on them to indicate they are getting power...or better yet, check your NIC to see if its sending/receiving anything. They do that if they have any power. It could be your battery, too... |
