Notice the lack of something...... LIKE THREADS. Thats right I pretty much twisted this thing off. I can't take all the credit though captain morgan did most of it.

This thing had to go to make way for the new WIDEBAND!!! Woooooooooooooooooooooooo.

mazdadrifter 04-17-2004 12:57 AM

does anyone know what tap to use to read thread my downpipe??

That sensor looks like it still has some life left. You should sell it on ebay! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Not sure about the tap size... M18 x 1.5 seems to be the internet consensus.

I think it's better to have a bung welded into the DP. I dont know what the heat will do to thoes taps

use anti seize when you put them in. it will still be hard to get them out but you wont need to beat the **** out of them.

funny part is that, this has happened before. And with this exact O2 sensor had anti seize on it when it came from bosch. I guess it wasn't enough. I think I'm going to get into the habit of taking out my o2 once month and putting more anti-sieze on it.

With gas prices going up, I'm going to keep my O2 in perfect working order. My wolf lets you customize all the settings for it, so hopefully when under vaccum my tII should be ALMOST as effecient as my n/a.
