well actually its a PITA to work on, but since we moved, and the tr3 got unearthed, dad and i have been cleaning it up and going thru it.

i showed it to my cousins kids on easter, and um i think it is a toy now

Nice!

Call me crazy, but since I've gotten to know my wife's "new" E36 328iC, I feel like it's got a little TR6 going on in the styling!

j9fd3s 05-04-2010 05:45 PM

you're crazy!

hmmm tr6 in a bmw? possible....

oh yeah and the kid is blurry in the pics, cause thats how they are in real life

Maxt 05-04-2010 06:06 PM

Thats a pretty cool car .. I could see myself with a flat cap, pipe, plaid jacket with corduroy elbow patches, going motoring in that.

Or even a pink tutu!

Maxt 05-04-2010 07:30 PM

I would never dream of a pink tutu in a convertible, its to cold.

Well, it surely isn't for the weak-willed and frail, but for a manly man who enjoys a bracing blast of cold air over his nuggets, there's really nothing else like open-air motoring in a pink tutu.

Maxt 05-05-2010 10:45 PM

Maybe a tank top and assless chaps..

Baldy 05-06-2010 07:43 AM

Not sure why people always say "assless" chaps. I thought all chaps were assless? Maybe a better term should be "assless leather pants"?

Maxt 05-06-2010 08:11 AM

Some are not assless, believe it or not, chaps are purpose built.

Baldy 05-06-2010 08:53 AM

Yeah, I thought their purpose was to cover your legs. If they have an ass, aren't they just pants? I guess I need to hang out with cowboys/bikers/strippers more often.

Some have an ass and no crotch up front, some have both but then are split down the leg, some only cover the front part of the thigh and have waistband.

Cowboy, biker stripper party would probably turn violent.

You either learn about chaps from growing up in the boonies as a farm kid or hanging out at gay leather bars.. I grew up in the boonies as a farm kid...

And took that knowledge to the city...

Maxt 05-07-2010 07:44 PM

Thats right, the Chap master!.

Its funny as Harleys and choppers went mainstream, all these Yuppies and 50 something's walking around town in brand new biker chaps with the price tag blowing in the breeze, creaking like a new saddle... They do look so gay.

Where I live is a weekend biker destination, so we see way to much chapping.

banzaitoyota 05-09-2010 05:21 PM

Canada and Assexposed chaps = a winning combination
