So I got a new 80gb MS Zune for my b-day last month, I've been faily happy with it, the software took some getting used to and say it was good would be an exaggeration. Anyhow, i usually drive with my mp3 player sitting on my lap, today i drove a 100 miles to take a god damn coast guard test, but that's another story. I get home here at the marina and i'm sitting in the parking lot with it on my leg, it falls onto my carpet floor with a rubber floor mat lands FACE UP and shatters the paper thin glass screen, spider cracks everywhere... yea that's right the ********* put a glass screen on the ******. So i call them after browsing around the internet to discover this is common, very common and they tell me that cannot fix it. They have no way to fix the shitty little glass screen. Basically its a disposable mp3 player. I beat the **** out of my creative zen and it's still working, amy uses it everyday, but they stopped making the large gb models, so i decided to give the shitbag microsoft 2nd generation junk box crap fart a try and I'm out $250.

you fucked me again microsoft, you fucked me again. So don't waste your god damn money

I dunno, this is the thinnest glass i have ever seen and screen size is pretty good , so you just breathe on it and it breaks.... apparently. lots of people complaining on the various forums.

Yea, Farrah got me the big plastic case for my 30g video Ipod because I do the same stuff with mine.

Had it for a year now and it still looks brand new.

I did in fact, a couple months worth, the new zune 80 has the HIGHEST rating on cnet, it's their top pick, not one mention of the **** *** screen. I bought one of th first ones to hit the shelf, then you start seeing the broken screen blues showing up all over the internets. ******* nightmare.

I would have bought another zen the first time around, but they are only producing flash based players and they want 249 for a 16 gig, with the sd card slot it would prolly be enough, but i was leary. I'll prolly just go ahead and get the new zen

My large cell phone screen looks like glass with plastic on top (I busted it, spider cracks all over), I'm surprised they're still doing that with small electronics. It's a Motorola Q.
