Most Mp3 players do not offer an expansion slot. The exception being certain sony players that take a memory stick, and some panasonic players that have their own version of a Flash card.

I had an Iriver 256mb player and loved it. It was about 200.

The expansion slot feature, in flash memory players is not a very popular feature.

The hard-drive type players I believe have this feature more often.

I decided to go with a Sony Mini Disk Player/Recorder. It's totaly cool actually, I never looked at MD Players before and these new recording types rock. They use USB ports to record **** onto a re-writable mini disk. You can burn CD's onto the disk or MP3's or whatever. The disks are 80 minutes long but can hold 5 hours of music on one disk with Sony's compression software. Plus, the disks are a lot cheaper then Memory Sticks.

I can get 5 MD's for like 10 bucks. That's 25hours of music, plus they look cool and you can't scratch them.

Here's which one I'm looking at.

iPod > all...i just picked mine up 3 days ago...10gigs of space for $300...and the best part about it, is if you have a Pioneer headunit, you can order pioneer part RB10...which basically makes your CD Changer input a line-in for rca's...then run an iCable from the iPod to the RB10...now you got an in-car mp3 player... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
