sorry to say, but they need to stop suing people and just get back to making millions$$ off of music

have fun!!

rfreeman27 07-18-2003 10:03 AM

oh i agree haha they have a dildo up their ass, but their old stuff kicks ass so i forgive them...

TYSON 07-18-2003 10:16 AM

Tickets were $90 here, so I had to pass. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

However, I did get tickets for the Stones, AC/DC, Rush, The Guess Who, and a bunch of others for $20, you can't beat that with a stick!!

rfreeman27 07-18-2003 10:29 AM

rush kicks asssssssssss

stones tickets for 20? wow, when they came here they were over 100.

gazellis 07-18-2003 10:40 AM

The fact that Metallica is suing everyone is not what changed their music.

James Hetfield seeking counseling for all of his neuroses and psychoses is what changed their music. He needs to start drinking and doing drugs again. If he had been, St. Anger never would have been made. It would have been called Anger.

Oh, and by the way, Rush does absolutely kick ass!!!!

winger 07-18-2003 11:04 AM

im going to see them this sunday in montreal, $94 for tickets is helluva expensive and yes I will be bootlegging these fuckers with my recorder.

They're doing a benifit for Toronto because of the SARS thing. Something like 30,000 people in the hospitality industry got laid off this summer because tourism is down.

The Stones always rehearse for tours in Toronto, they cancelled a concert in Europe to do this one. Actually, I think it was their idea to do this.

If you check Ticketmaster, they reserved a whole bunch of tickets for people from the US. $16 I think

I think they're expecting 300,000+ people. 9 hour outdoor concert WOO HOO!!

Trudeau is gone now, there is no one to get upset cause Keith "partied" with the Prime Minister's wife!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

They usually rehearse here then play one of the bars before going on tour.

After those two 'loads' of crap they dropped on us, and now St.Suck I would never spend a dime on one of their shows. Jason Newsted wised up and saw what was going on around when he decided to leave, smart move by him. I had so much respect for Rob Trujillo, now I don't know... you can't blame him for not passing up the opportunity though.

Master of Puppets will always be a masterpiece though.

Striker 07-18-2003 02:22 PM

anyone have cliff em all??? i was contemplating its purchase the other day, but was unsure what it was.

the toronto concert is gonna rule. why can't we have a mad cow concert here. our industry loses millions a day because of the border.

TYSON 07-18-2003 02:41 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png That would be because the GTA has more people than Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba combined! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

People don't even talk about the mad cow thing here https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png I know the beef prices sure haven't gone down https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png

I remember seeing Mettalica and Guns and Roses at the Meadowlands

wayyyy back in the late 80's, early 90's, cant remember the exact year

but it was when the black album came out. They gave a great show, Guns and roses on the other hand sucked. Alice in Chains opened for them.

I remember that tour. That pretty much killed G n R.

I saw them before that. They did a pretty good show.

Rob x-7 07-18-2003 06:27 PM

he would run back stage and stay there forever, then come out

and sing, then go back stage.....

plus it took them almost 2 hours to come on.

it wasnt alice in chains, it was Faith No More, I just remembered that.

gazellis 07-18-2003 08:07 PM

Jason Newsted.... yes he left Metallica and that was probably a bright idea but he went and hooked up with VoiVod. Not sure if that was a bright idea.

The concert that James Hetfield got burned at ended up in a riot because Guns and Roses would not go on stage to save the evening. Axl said his throat hurt and he could not sing.
