I think it's funny.

I sit here and talk with all of my friends and family and hope all of them make it though alright. I know they are going to be in the worst part of the worst storm in history for the area, and can do nothing about it.

Look, I know that you've got family to be worried about and it's completely understandable. Hell, the last hurricane that ripped through us was strong enough all the way out here to knock over a tree that then crushed my dad's jeep so I couldn't imagine how bad it was for others much closer to the coast. I looked at all of them and, while tasteless, people like Eric (who're completely seperated from the disaster and have no one close to him who are either) will see the humor in it. While I myself don't really, don't take it to heart that someone else on here does. Take Hitler for example. The man was literally a living horror. He caused tons of deaths of people, merely out of an "advanced racism." Certainly not a laughing matter, or at least not in the 40s and 50s. Then again, there's a lighter side to the whole thing (him dying a virgin is a good example.) The point I'm trying to make is this: Eric even admitted to the whole thing being tasteless, so don't take it to heart and find a personal offense with him. I'll be praying for you, your family, and friends (and their safety.) If there's anything we can do all the way from here, feel free to get in touch. The #'s 205-281-3471.

You fuckers need to wait a while before posting **** like this, while people in some parts of the country might find it amusing, the people that have to experince it first hand or just worry about thier extended family and friends really don't need anymore a reminder of the situation, especially in a joking manner.

Now we are going to get hit, granted it's not going to be anything even remotely close to what happens to the coast, but I've got folks around there to be worried about too. I'm concerned mostly for people on here though. I will do my best to pray tonight and tomorrow as often as I can and my number's on here in case anyone's come this far and wouldn't mind taking a load off. (A very doubtful situation, but a valid offer.) Again, I'm sorry that these things are happening, and thoughts and prayers go out to all involved.

My prayers are with every single person that is being effected by this thing. I don't want anything bad to happen to anyoone.



People today seem to not realize that when someone dies or is hurt that they are someones son or daughter, or mother or father, or brother or sister. Think about if it was your own. My parents, 2 of my aunts and 2 of my uncles, my grandparents, my great aunts and uncles, my cousins, even more extended family, innumerable friends, and aquaintences are down in the worst of it. Think about if they were your own.

Jokes are a way for people to distance themselves from the harsh reality of the event. They are the cheap way out for people that are not strong enough to deal with the reality of the situation. joking about an event like this is the lowest of the low in my opinion.
