I am still in my P.J.'s and its 4:30 PM here. I just spent 3.5 hours playing Halo with my son. It gives me a headache for some weird reason. I don't think I blink when I play. I know its an old game and we have beat it, its just fun to play.

I have been eating leftover pizza from last night all day long. I have not done this in ages.

I think I'll go take a nap now.

HA! Freaking time zones. You'll get to celebrate new years before us too. Make sure you tell us how yours went before we head out to celebrate ours.

Got the 4wd fixed, fixed my 10-disc changer (hole in heater vent right behind radio pumping INSANE amounts of heat right onto control box and radio) reset it and it's all good, also plugged the hole :P Went to the family Christmas got some wal-mart gift cards and an electric griddle https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif played with my son most of the day, redid all my entertainment stuff (Gamecube,Flat Screen TV,VCR,DVD player, flat panel speakers and sub, stereo) which was a HUGE pain in the ass gotta be 80 wires running wild back there, plus power cables......cleaned the house, and I think that's it...gonna fix the Logicon where it shows the lights for 4wd tomorrow, blown fuse I'll almost bet, bought the Chilton manual, and it seems almost worthless so far, trying to cover too damn many trucks in one book...g'night ppl https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I managed to choke down some delicious delicious lazagna today. That was about it. And like a litre of water so far.

Last few days it's been dry toast and that's it.

Oh yeah, and It's been like this for about a week for me. Having to work long hours doesn't help. Get rest.

My PJ's consist of a t-shirt and a pair of, I dont even know what to call these, they are like boxers but they have long legs. They are made by Joe Boxer I think. Really comfortable great for chillen around the house. If I am really feeling pimp I wear my terry cloth bathrobe.

banzaitoyota 12-22-2003 06:31 AM

Jim wears BUNNY FOO-FOO PJ's with feet!!!!

My constructive day was Saturday. Finished cutting the tile for our "awesomest room of the house" project. Tired of freezing my fingers with the damn wet saw. I can't wait to finish this crap. Still have to lay the cut tile, seal, grout, seal, move the piano, lay tile where the piano was, etc.

ain't home renovations great?

Jims5543 12-22-2003 08:29 AM

Been there done that. I had to jackhammer out 2 rooms of ugly pink tile the homeowners before me put in. Nothink like wrestling a 50 lb jack hammer from 7:00 until 2:00 in the morning for 2 nights straight.

Then we tiled the entire living area of the house. Living room, kitchen, hallway and utility room. I cannot rmember how many square feet of tile we layed it was a lot. My friend came over and helped he lays tile for a living that made it go really really fast.

I remember when I was jackhammering. I felt like I was never going to get all the tile out.

geez, thank god we're replacing carpet with tile. I couldn't imagine ripping that crap up. I've only had to bust up one tile, that are huge dog had a massive heap of diarrhea on. Yeah, Spanish tile absorbs any moisture.

but we've also: painted that room, put down floating floor in 3 other bedrooms (pergo), painted 2 other bedrooms, put track lighting in the kitchen, got a dining "nook" (I call it a booth), light fixture over that, 3 new ceiling fans, 1 with medallion (looks awesome!), new chandelier, and much much more on the list to go. There's nothing like making a house your own. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

so my car sits....waiting for it's new MC to be installed https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

Jims5543 12-22-2003 08:41 AM

We are in the same hell!!! I just finished wood flooring 2 rooms too. Paint!! HA!! You need to meet my wife. She is not happy unless there is fresh paint somewhere in the house.

We got a new bedroom set a month or so ago, ypu, you guessed it the whole bedroom had to be painted over for the new set. Even though the 2 year old paint on the walls matched it had to change. Oh! then the Master bath didn't match so yeah it had to be painted. But wait! The towel rack the TP dispenser were outdated. I had to tear them out of the wall leaving gaping holes then drywall and patch the holes and paint the whole bathroom over.

Has your wife discovered **** finishes yet. Oh, I mean Foux Finishes. Those are so much fun! Its like painting the room three times.

You have my pity sir. The worst part of being in Florida is that you can work in the yard 12 months a year. I rested because I have a bouganvillia I have to tear out over the holiday weekend. I will take pics of this monster. I will surey get tore up tearing it out. It has 3" long spikes all over it.

bouganvillia

eh?

My wife is the crazy paint woman, but she's the one who does all the painting. So I think that's what's keeping us from the faux finish crap. Owalls have a cool texture on them, so we like it how it is. We painted one wall in our bedroom a dark red, and with the textured/raised plaster, it looks like leather.

But you sound like you got it bad. My condolences.

You sound like you have more of an idea of what you're doing than I do, but anyways, here's a good forum: home repair
