******* photoshop and a half, and a HORRIBLE one.
ok look at the main plane look to the left udner the missile/rocket...notice the TONS of blurring? now look at the "wings" behind the pilots head. you'd assume it's the tail pieces but notice they're angled and none of the other planes are. plus look at the shade/sunlight on the following airplanes, Now look where the shadow is on the stadium. t5he stadium has sunlight from the top left, the planes have sunlight coming straight at them, maybe a tad to the right. beginners. kevin. |
its a cool ******* pic..
no need to overanalyze fuckers |
I agree, it reeks of Adobe's finest.

where's the cockpit glass? there should be a metal brace about a foot behind the pilots head. and i've seen clean glass before, but that glass is non-existant.

nevermind. I'm a dumbass. |
The F-16 has a bubble canopy, its one peice. There is only one peice of metal, and its butted up against where the canopy meets the fuselage in the back. Can't tell if its there or not in this pic. One way or another, definately a photoshop. Also notice that one play has Sparrow missles on wingtip, one has sidewinders, and the other two have empty pylons.....kinda odd and very unrealistic. At least photshop identical stuff......
|
I picked up on the missles right away, I was just waiting for someone else to notice before I spoiled it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

After talking with several pilots at work, they all say the picture is real.
The sun is noon, slightly to the left.. look at the main pilots helmet. Also, the shadows cast by the buildings are very SHORT and to the right.. Look at shadows on both ends of the stadiums… , which indicates the sun is almost in the noon position to the left.. Now 2 or 3 of the F-16’s that you look down on, have shadows to the left instead of the right.. If you look carefully, this is because they are slight banked right (our left), causing the sun to cast a shadow on the tail end of the airplane on the opposite side. Once again, because the sun is almost noon, a slight bank in either direction would cast an easy shadow…. Its not hard to understand. The missiles: they are most likely dummy missiles. F-16 Falcons fly with missiles, or dummy missiles on their wingtips very frequently to dampen the vibration and create a more stable aircraft. This isn’t an unusual sight..This is coming from someone who used to fly fighters… I also fly out of an Air Base, seeing F-16’s with missiles on the wingtips is common. The blur to the right and left of the main pilot is condensation. This happens on all airplanes that can fly at high speeds… Fly in a commercial jet, and you will see condensation streaming off of the wingtips if the weather is right. After zooming in on the left missile, it isn’t blurry.. its just where the middle of the missile is just overtop of a dark object on the ground, creating a blur.. The control surfaces of the missiles are so small that they might appear blurry.. That could be fault of the camera.. The cockpit glass: the main support for the glass is in front of the camera, or out of range.. angle has a lot to do with this illusion. The glass is so clear because in fighters, the glass is optically perfect, to maximize visibility to pilots.. Believe it or not for what this picture is, but several people at my work (all pilots) explained any of the reasons that people thought this was a flawed/photo chopped pic.. Sorry guys, its real. |
