ok so i was heading to go take photos of my car (posted in 2nd gen)



and was approaching a cop hot spot, had a grand marquis on my left and i was in the lane next to it, both of us doing basically the same exact speed.



I see this audi come flying up behind the grand marquis, gets tired after 2 seconds of being behind him and swaps to being behind me. i see this and tap the brakes.



he swaps back to the marquis, so i speed up like im gonna pass the marquis.



plan has worked, he's behind me again waiting to squeeze between me and the marquis. now is the time i waited for:



FLAME TIME. rev up, let off.....PA-POWWWWWWWWWWWWW



nice big shotgun style flame. Audi drops abck 4 car lengths, immediately.



So now we go to a light where the right lane (the one im in) splits so there's a lane to turn right from, he rolls up next to me and has that look of "WTF". I roll down the window and i was hit with the saddest question ever.



"Yo what you got in that thing, you got nawwwwwsss?"



I laughed and just rolled my window back up. let him get in front of me just in time for the last stretch of the cop hot spot, and WHAM cop got him.



I love knowing where cops are.

Radar detector? How'd you know?

ive driven 90,000 miles in about 2.5 years........



i KNOW where cops are, i dont need no stinkin detector, its not like they find new spots when th old ones work.

Well, there are a bazillion cop spots around here, and they mix it up so you really can't be sure what spot they're at.

lol...



I lived in the same area for 18 years and I know where cops shoot the radar within a 35 mile radius of my old house. It was a nice advantage and it saved me the money for a radar detector. Too bad I moved... :(

oh, well my town/city is huge, and cops are rather predictable except when on routes, altho i know most of their paths as well.



i have been surprised by cops in smoe spots tho, but i make a mental note and keep an eye on when and how often they use the spots.



soemtimes i take a shot with spots that only see cops like once a month and ill get caught, but for the most part i keep myself away...especially lately. back in the day i didnt give a ****.

I wish my town was like that. I live in one of those small towns with almost no crime so the only thing the cops have to do is give out tickets. They really only patrol our main road so you can speed along the back roads to your hearts content but that also means almost no speeding on the main one.
