Each cup has a clear pillar in the center. The last/largest has liquid in the center pillar. You can see as he dumps fluid into the last cup at :43, the fluid hits the top of the center pillar. At 1:04 you can also see the center pillar of the largest cup has a higher fluid level than the rest in that same cup.

Trike accidents? Yeah. I might have found it funny 5 years ago. Now, it just makes me cringe and think the stupid parents behind the video cameras should have taken a step and saved their child a nasty fall.
