This is an urban legend, it's ben going around for years. YOu honestly believe the bitter gas station attendant is SO alert at his job that he knows the goings on of the whole gas station, half the time they are glued to a TV or chatting on the phone and it's an inconvenience to take your money.

I dont know how anybody can possibly leave their car UNATENDED and UNLOCKED out in the open. Are these people retarded?

Not really, there was never any poison candy epidemic, there were two cases and that was family members who did it, not strangers.

My key no longer works on anything but the ignition, so I leave everything unlocked. Plus if they really wanted in, they could just bust the window.
