September is still no joke in south florida. We wet sailing today, hit the water about 11am, 6 foot seas and a 10 knot wind, did quite well under sail and with 6 foot seas there were very few power boats on the water. We had some friends on board and I asked them prior to leaving the inlet if they had spent any time on a boat and if they get sea sick, of course they answered yes they had been on a boat and they'll be fine... HERE COMES LUNCH!!!!
My throttle cable broke on the way back in so i had to rig something up, can't believe they put a brand new motor in and used the old cable, but i guess at $75 bucks i can understand it somewhat if the old one looked servicable. Anyhow, it was HOT, i didnt drink enough and I was feeling it by the time we hit the dock, I was in need of some liquid, i seem to be shaking the dehydration headache now, but hell we hit our feet in the sand at 7:30 so it's been a few hours. |
we are drinking marguritas, i was drinking tea, but i was wrong.
|
heh yea man. the summer's are quite warm here...did you go fishing? what'd you go for? we went out diving this morning...seas weren't too bad here.
