So after talking with the guy who bought my car two years ago, I want to buy it back now. Thats my rotary news.
As for non rotary news ... Ive been working on scooters ... old hondas specifically. My pride and joy is a c70 passport that I restored (some might remember the build up and then crash pictures) and built a high compression 90cc engine for. It cruises along pretty well, doing wheelies and such, but I ended up breaking the rear swing arm so I figured it would be a good time to do a whole new restore with some better paint. So that one is waiting for paint and down to bare frame. The others are my other scooters, another c70 and a cl90 in the middle of a total restore with a high compression 103cc engine. Also got some new camera equipment, the sony is on loan from discovery channel. I like them both but Id still have to stick with the xl2 because of its versatility. I know most of you probably dont care about cameras :( But what the hell.... so yeah, tell me what you think! http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot1.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot2.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot3.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot4.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot5.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot6.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/scoot7.jpg http://www.travisarket.com/images/cameras.jpg |

I think I'll run up to the store and buy me some Bass Ale. Got a hankerin' for some Bass Ale. Why did the Discovery Channel lend you a camera? Are you shooting some video for a segment of "Orange County Scooters?" How many cats do you have? |
Im doing stuff with them on the deadliest catch and I have two cats https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683246.gif

hmm, scooters are cool, that 80's one reminds me of my cousins spree...

I'd love to have a classic scooter one day, they're neat.
I found a 4-stroke Indian moped in a shed once, gave it away though (too much work involved). It was pretty rad. |
thats pretty sweet gear..

I can tear one down engine and all and put it back together in just a couple hours. Parts are at max like 60 bucks ... and there is a heavy aftermarket for older hondas. That and its really fun to do wheelies past people on some goofy looking grocery getter thingymabob! I dont think im ever going back to cars ... way too much involved :( |
