ive been using a go-ped to get around latly its made fun and cheap lol
|
As long as you don't have to take any 75 mph interstates , and you can get enough riding season out of it to pay back its purchase price in fuel savings, why not?
Has fuel prices gone up there because of hurricane Gustav? They are already using it for a 6cent/litre leverage increase even though none of fuel supplies are affected by it.. |
gas is actually perrty cheap here its just mad fun riding a gas powered scooter lol poeple alway give funny looks lol
|
well its cheaper than the 3 on gas, ins, and payment.. which only means more money for the 7 and maybe an extra project.. I have the gf's cobalt when i need an actual car. I only work 4 days a week so driving isnt so bad for me. Seems to be a few options to increase the top speed on it to help it go in traffic..

You would definitely have to get the option pee wee herman suit and the obligatory gloss white open face bowling ball helmet.
|
6 miles just get a bicycle, still cooler then one of those

6 miles just ride a bike dude, save ya money, get you in better shape and you won't look like a ****.
|
maybe he like looking like a ****
|
yeah that was my exact thought actually. honestly when i moved up here the idea was to just get a bike but the roads just arent setup that well to do that. I've looked at the suzuki dual purpose options as well havent made a decision yet on which way to really go. I'll wait to decide until im at the dealer.
|
not suitable for a bike but they are ok for one of those things?
|
Don't get one of those stupid dual sports, they aren't useful for anything on or offroad.

Get one of these for like 75 bucks used, lol. But the dual purpouse does look less faggy than its other scooter counterparts. |
Try BSE!

I rode to work on my bicycle for the first time today. It wasn't bad at all. I brought a change of clothes, a small towel (no shower here at work), shoes, and speed stick and cologne. It took me about 30 minutes to completely cool down and stop sweating, but I don't smell, and I get to look cool with my bike sitting in front of my desk.
It wasn't exactly a thrifty bike, but it should pay for itself over time with gas savings and the increased health benefits. |
vespa FTW?
|
Working in a factory FTW when I ride my bike I pedal until my legs fall off and I'm all ready to pass out before I even start work, lol. Than my legs kill me all day standing up than I do the same thing back home...full tilt!!! And than a full tank of gas for the RX7 on the weekend, couldnt be better.
Winter sucks the big one. |
