I am getting raked over the coals with quarterly fees. I do not day trade, I buy and hold for 6-12 months on average and execute maybe 2 trades a month. Just simple sell/purchase orders nothing too tricky like options, puts, or limits. Can anyone recomend a good broker from experience? I would sacrifice and trade higher commissions for no quarterly/annual or **** fees...

i hear tdwaterhouse is pretty good

one time pretty low trade fee and no long term fees

I just called TD Waterhouse, they charge $25 a quarter too if you carry less than 25K or trade less than 3 times a month.



Does anybody have a broker that does not charge maintenance for carrying 5-10K and 1 or 2 trades per month?
