ok... just a couple of days ago my GF bought me a 89 RX-7 for my bday

but the thing is i dont know SH!T about rotary. like i know how a rotary engine works but dont know how to fix it or mod it...like i have a 93 240 sx but i know they are compleatly diff, so i need help!!!!



right now all i know is that i have a 2nd gen rx-7 with 40000 on a rebuilt engine the cluch is tight, i have to push my sunroof up, and then it will go back, and that my engine sounds sick. (prob the timing belt) but yea

(oh i also have warranty some of the parts)



i would like to know, how to fix my engine whats wrong with the sunroof and how would i fix the cluch and shifter, and what will be the cost?



any info would help.

my advise would be to start reading all the posts on all the rx7 forums you can find on the net. your sunroof may have a weak motor, or a bad linkage piece, or may just need to be lubed. As far as your engine ROTARIES DON'T HAVE TIMING BELTS!!!< THEY DON'T HAVE MUCH OF ANYTHING REALLY!! 2 rotors, eccentric shaft, and some housings are basically it. no pistons, rods, valves, lifters , cams, none of that crap!!!> Where are you located, I'm sure someone near you can either lend a hand or advise you a reputable rotary shop to have it checked out!
