I don't think CNN is short changing us on coverage on those more important issues. There is no shortage of Mideast, War on Terror, economic, etc...reporting.

did that really need to be on the front page though?

I forgot to mention that in the original post.

All big media is owned by large corporations.This sells papers,mags, etc. They are interested in the bottom line(money) and looking after their own interests.Find some foreign news paper, its a lot different.

Take for example the story about the Isreali soldiers that were killed by a bomber with explosives strapped to him. What the media didn't say was that the bomber was a 10 year old brainwashed child and the soldiers wouldn't shoot a child. Believe it or not, all of our media in the US is filtered.

If you like big corporations, then you can thank Ford(part owner of Mazda) for not selling the 3-rotor engine here.

The media blows, what mazes me is how something can be front page news one day and the next day I can't find a damn thing about it. Drives me nuts, I wanna know what happened in the end, but once it's made the headlines, 9 out of 10 times that's the last you'll hear of it. Unless it has something to do with a celebrity, then it will be jammed down our throats for the next 6 months...

Oh yea, if I gotta hear one more time about how Ford "invented the SUV" I am going to puke. So tired of that ****.... so what are they saying we can blame them for the hunks of ****? LOL
