I'm just having a few problems here and there.





Not sure if you're able to install programs by running off a CD, but I was able to down opera - when trying to install it it says:

error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - No such file or directory (2)

error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

RESULT=1

well... i went to open a new term. by hitting ctrl-alt-f4, and it made it huge.... i didn't know how to get rid of it (tried kill, everything - nothing.) I had shut it down - reloaded it, now the internet won't boot up again....

I haven't had time to dual boot. I need to find partition magic, to where I can just download, and NOT have to buy it. Anyone know?

Mandrake install set up the partitions for me on my dual booter...

well, that doesn't help me.



As it clearly states, to install mandrake, I'll need to backup everything on my computer. I do not want to fully install it on this computer, i want to dual boot, so I need a partition maker -anyone know where to get one?
