Went to Denny's for breakfast this morning. I saw this moron in his "high end" S-10 parked over 2 spaces.

First off all the paint job SUCKED it was not clean at all.

I was in my Mini and was tempted to just park to the right of him straight in the space. I just didn't need my car keyed.

Is that how people are down there? If you would have parked there that means he would have keyed your car no question?

Geez.

I also notice he SUCKS at taking up two spaces

It's times like that when you absolutely have to have a beat-to-**** 1973 Plymouth Fury. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

yeah having a beater def has its plusses. i think he would have had at least one flat tire if i was have seen that. actually i used to park that way when i first got my 7 but it was always away from others so it didnt bother them. my car is very beautiful

Sinful7 03-19-2004 09:19 AM

I used park like that in shopping malls at the very end of the rows. It was to minimize side-panel exposue to other cars (less chance of door dings). Then I realized it's totally pointless, because no one else parks 1/4 mile from the door anyway.

Edit: sometimes I come out to a honduh nearby, but I think they park next to my car to look cool and usually leave a fairly generous amount of space.

Shane.Trammell 03-19-2004 09:25 AM

yeah it does suck that i have gotten a couple of dings, i think im just getting what i deserve bc one day at my last job a long time ago the wind blew my door open and it jacked this cougar up. it belonged to a hot girl so what could i do?? it left a straight line dent that was about 5 inches long. i still regret not saying anything.

No that is not how people are in general here. But, if this guy is a big enough ******* and dilusional enough to think he needs to park his POS that way then why chance being a smart ass to him and risking him retaliating on my clean car.

BTW - I got my first door ding on my Mini and I am pissed. Now I always park far away from everyone. Usually in the last space of a row and hug the curb so a door can not hit me.
