I Can't Use Chat Anymore!

I'm using a different computer at work right now, because mine is being wiped clean and installed with XP (previously had '98). Judging by my experience with this computer (it's already had the conversion done), I can't use chat! I get a little coffee cup when it's thinking, and then this message comes up:



*** Failed to launch Ident server : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission localhost:113 listen,resolve)

Connecting...

Unable to connect : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission chat.irchat.tv resolve)



Is there a way I can get around this? I'm sure I've missed out on some interesting conversations between j9fd3s and homerbot.
