Galveston oh Galveston, I still hear those sea waves crashing. I hope if Galveston is hit, it won't be as bad as it was the last time they got hit.

at least its only going to affect prices by about 10-15 cents here.

l8t apex 09-22-2005 07:36 AM

Get gas yesterday! More refineries in the Houston area! Except it doesn't have the LOOP which is out in the gulf to unload foreign oil.

All rigs are shut in when a hurricane is in the gulf....no production .

Sorry.

PhoenixDownVII 09-22-2005 08:13 AM

It's all hype. We don't even refine oil in texas. We grow oil from oil tree's in the midwest.

Seriously, though, they said to expect $4 in wake of Katrina, and we saw $3.50, now they're saying $5, but I think at worst it will reach $4.25

drftk1d 09-22-2005 10:50 AM

thats still terrible

Shane.Trammell 09-22-2005 12:02 PM

yeah i saw them earlier, passed 1 station, 2.44, right down the road they were changing it to 2.69.

phinsup 09-22-2005 02:07 PM

Shane.Trammell 09-22-2005 02:36 PM

Rob x-7 09-22-2005 06:35 PM

Isn't that freakin you out?!

You see $2.75 and you're like "Cheap gas! Woot!" whereas a month ago we'd be like "WTF" but since we paid $3.50 before we're now like "OMG" But before I mean, seriously, we could have been like "No way" and now we're all just saying "Word."

K so yea, it's all based on perspective, no?
