i have a road test of the 1980 racing beat imsa car

its specs....

280hp@9500rpm

160lbfs/ft@8000rpm

wieght: 2250lbs (!)

0-60 5.6 seconds

1/4 mile 14.1@106mph

top speed (w 5.67ring and pinion) 137mph

skidpad 1.04g

mpg 6

the rx8

0-60 5.9 seconds

1/4 mile 14.5@96

148 mph top speed

.91 on the skidpad

and gets 18/24 mpg

not bad for wieghing in @3029lbs!

rx8 is prolly cheaper too

Probably a first gear that tops out a 70mph in the race car.
