Sufficed to say, I'm taking a snow day.. Thank god I can work from home. The non-drift snow in the backyard is waist deep. Snow started on 3/17 at 10:12 PM, it's now 3/19 at 5:30 AM, so just over 24 hours.



We're expecting 5-7 feet and the snow will be continuous until Thursday morning.

Last week it was 75 degrees.

call me stupid, but where does all that go when it melts? I mean, it seems like that would make a lot of water. do you get floods after every heavy snow?
