Yes 3rd gens have 4.10, not sure about tranny model though.

What do you mean by tranny models? If I remember right Mazda makes all of their own trannys save for the auto which is made by JATCO.

I saw a post about this, and PMed the person who said they had CarFax but no response. Im calling up the dealer tomorow, can someone please run a carfax for me on this vin? It says 17 records but I assume most are title/emissions. JM1FD3310P0207373

If you plan on modding your car past basic bolt ons DO NOT get an auto. You'll end up needing to get an aftermarket computer and I don't know of any that work with the auto tranny.

I found 2 different places that I can get 3500 stall converters for the auto. My mods list wont be extensive, going off to college in the fall (nearly a year yes...) and need to have plenty of money saved up to fix stuff when it undoubtably breaks. On my mods list, Turbo Timer, BOV, high stall tc, probably intake, probably exhaust (cat back) if i can find a non rice style/sound one, new wheels/tires (going to pick up some DRs from work), and then I imagine ill upgrade my ignition and fuel system, because eventually ill put it on the bottle (after I have the engine rebuilt whenever that happens). I doubt i'd need a new computer for just what I listed.



BTW I realise F&F was a movie, im not a ricer, I actually understand how nitrous works, and all the safety precautions that go into it. And autos are the prefered tranny for N20.
