Scored two working Gateway laptops at a yard sale for 5 bux. They are both missing hard drives and have dead batteries. I figure for maybe $120 to 150 I can have at least one laptop that will run the Haltech software. Where's the best place to buy really CHEAP laptop stuff?

Yeah, Newegg for the hard drive, don't think they carry laptop batteries, though...



For that, eBay may be your easiest course of action. OR, if you want to make something a bit cheaper, if you have the power adapter, just hardwire it to your car. It's most likely a 12V input past the brick, check on the back of it.
