Over the past year I have had an ongoing annoyance with an itchy scalp. No dandruf, no flakes...just that my scalp constantly itches. It started over a year ago and at first I tried every kind of shampoo from a 79 cent bottle to a $15 bottle...after a few months of doing that I went to a dermatologist. This guy perscribed Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo (for psoriasis) with the hope that it would clear it up...no change...

Went to a second dermatologist who perscribed a very strong "mouuse-like" foam to use daily on my hair...making sure it would penetrate the scalp...this along with continual use of the T-Gel shampoo. Used this for about 2.5 months...still no change...

Went back to the same doctor and explained nothing he gave me has helped. He then perscribed a very strong shampoo called "Nizorol" to use bi-weekly in addition to the foam. I tried this over the summer and it didn't help one bit...

Wierd thing is I have no clue what triggered this condition. All the doctor could suggest was stress...and at the time (and now) I'm an not stressed at all https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif over the past few years i have bleached my hair blonde a few times (which does dry out the scalp)...but this happened many months after the last time I did that...

i have tried everything to rid this condition...shaving my head...growing my hair long, washing it 5 times a day, not washing it for a month, getting it tan, shading it from light, etc, etc...i'm tempted to start shampooing with motor oil and see if that works LOL

I'm not guessing I would get any replies, but just thought I'd see if anyone has had this condition and what they did to solve it!

thanks

I think it might be your car. If you have recently performed some performance mods lately. When you drop the clutch and lauch the car (especially RX-7's as they are very fast) you get a very sudden and stong rush of blood to the head. This is quite common with all RX-7 drivers. No other cars will give off such reactions as they are not as quick. Try driving around in a Honda or another low performance vehicle and you should find the condition will resolve itself.

I like psoriasis, taste good with peperoni.

Try getting zinc in your diet, I had some funky skin thing where it would be itchy but would also flake a little. It spread all over my back, arms, neck, ect.... Doc gave me some shampoo stuff, might be the same thing you have, and some zinc bar soap stuff, took it right away. But it could be completely different and have no effect, but give it a try and see.
