In high school, there would be many relationships (and I use that term loosely) between guys who are 18 and girls who are 17, no big deal. If the parents didn't like the guy, and found out they were having sex, that would nail him for statutory rape, no matter what the girl says. I knew of several guys that happened to.

I knew someone whos goal in college was to sleep with a prof in order to pass a class. She accoplished it too.
