alex tought me that if youre driving hard you will ignore the guages, so if you're building a car you need to make it so that you dont need to look at guage, cause alex wont

In a backwards way (LOL) that makes a lot of sense.

You'd be concentrating on the road if your driving hard, not the guages.

That's why I need one center mounted tach with big numbers and pretty lights with a loud buzzer so i know when to shift and not blow my rotor. I barely notice the overrev buzzer on my car the exhaust is so loud...

Cheers! 01-22-2004 10:27 PM

i never look at my gauges, the only time i do is when i stop.

Jim, why not the stack gauge system? those are bling bling

alex drove my car all day at thunderhill with the tach buried at 8k, the oil pressure near zero, coolant temp 3/4's and the warning buzzers were all going off like a carnival, and nothing happened, except we had fun.

so the moral of the story is dont drift on the roadcourse without a change of shirts

BTW - I like this widebody. Its simple and functional. Any one know who makes it?? Or where I could buy it?

i have that widebody. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I got mine from corksport, its the same as the panspeed but much less. I live it, its a perfect fit, and very functional.

i have some pics, just gotta find em

Well on most of thoes gauges there is a warning function. So if something does go wrong the gauge will go apes...and you can look at it...

The Motec one is made to work with my M-4. This is just as nice if not better than the stack one.

I just looked at the Corksport site and did not see that widebody kit on there.

venomrx7- If you know the name of the kit so I can call them that would be great.
