My boss just told me today that he wants to build a hover craft sometime next year. He asked me if I'll help him build a rotary to power it. This is gonna fuggin rock! I wonder if I should use a carburated 13B or just go with a 12A. Any tips or comments are alway appreciated.

I was gonna start working on a hover craft this summer ... they are easy to build and oh so fun! But think of it like this. A normal 2 person hover craft only needs around 15 hp to get moving ... quick. So imagine a 100+ hp engine.... youre gonna die. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png But it'll be a good way to go out :flush:

I have a friend who is selling an 85 gs for under a grand. It's all beat up, but runs pretty good. I was thinking about having him buy that, taking out the engine, and using the rest of the car for parts. Hmmm, this is fun.

Will the stock carb handle an open exhaust on a 12A, or should he uprgrade? He's looking to spend around 2 grand for the powertrain, if that's possible.

Use a BREW, Large Street Port, Single Turbo. Or a 20B NA. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
