Ok first i must give you a little background. I live in a small country town, and we have the least densly populated road, though we have many people on it. There are ALOT of young kids and pets on our road, but you see, its perfectly flat and its exactly a mile long.



We have always had a problem with street racers. They do it at all times of the day, with traffic, and have had both accidents with each other and involving little kids they have hit who were just playing like a normal kid would. My dad, being the anger-manangement cas he is, has always been the guy to throw **** at them, chase them, call the cops on them, etc. And as bad a rep as its gotten me, i give him alot of respect because he all but eliminated the problem.



This time last year, a neighborhood kid, the only one who refused to stop racing up and down the road, went by the house at about 115mph at 5 in the morning. This is the time my dad leaves for work. Hes not just racing anymore, oh no, hes hitting neutral and revving up some noise when he goes by, hes trying to be an ass.



So he does this at 5am, and my dad is thinking like "WTF?? why is he doing this at 5am?? I can't go to work and have something happen to my family". I perfectly understandable thought imo. So he follows the kid back to his house, gets out of the car, and basically scares the kid shitless.



To make a long story short, the kid makes up a bs story that my dad hit him with a pipe(they never found ANY markings, ANY pipe, etc), and the cops arrest him. My dads a correctional sergant, so they suspend him without pay until its resolved. Hes out of work until MARCH, then the court day comes and the kid drops the charges....

Ok so christmas and our financial state jus got fucked up because he could have done that MONTHS ago.



Ok now back to why i'm posting this. The street racing had stopped, until 2AM last night. These four cars are racing up and down for like an hour so i finally had it. They're not even that fast, the problem is all i can hear is turbos, and i can see its bothering other households as well. Seeing as i'm the only male(young not old male) on our block at this time, i decide to do something about it.



What did i do you ask? Oh i let em have it! I grabbed the keys to my dune buggy, yea that '88 RX7 which is still on street tires, and i drive down the road to where the headlights are. After they quit bullshitting me for driving this "piece of slow ****", i challenge the white car, the obvious leader, to a race. If i win, they gotta split.



Deal, so we line it up. First gear he got me, automatic; 2nd gear were tip to tip; 3rd gear i pull away; 4th gear still pulling; 5 and final: PRICELESS, i **** on him. So as they are leaving he pulls over to be, and i notice quite to my happiness what kind of car it was:





She was a Wonda CIBBIC!



So they leave, finally, and i call the cops and turn in the video tape of them racing that i got from the nice hidden cameras on my roof, and the license plate number of all of they're cars as well as nice descriptions : )



The problem is these kids with money have no respect for they're machines, or for the safety of others, and it pisses me off. But thats ok, cause you know what....

No cuz i did one race to get rid of them, then turned em in to the cops. As long as they were gone i don't think they cared how i did it. When the police took statements they never came back and asked me why i was racing, so i think out of respect that i resolved the issue no one mentioned it.

so, when are you turning 16?
