To me the FD is one of the most beautifull cars ever. I totaly agree with Gordon. On a sidenote, Supras IMO are ugly. They're too big, too bulky, and too "busy". There's just to much to focus on in a Supra, the FD is very simple in styling, and that's what makes it great. Those are chassis names given to the cars. You can find them in evey Rx7's VIN#.



Example:



A 1980 Rx7 would be - SA22C5710462

A 1987 Rx7 wuold be - JM1FC3314H0531771

A 1993 Rx7 would be - JM1FD3312P0210047





So it's not SE, it's either SA (in the VIN) or most people call the first generation Rx7 the FB.

Nicely said Gordo!! That's exactly why i bought the FD. Supras look good only with a body kit. We don't need one.

I'm not going to disagree that the rx7 is the better looking car and one of the hottest cars on the road, but the supra is far from ugly and looks very clean lowered with no rear wing.
