94touring 01-19-2005 12:29 AM

Yeah whats the deal now, that fuel adjustment after the 2 bar map change should have things fixed.

CrassFC3S 01-19-2005 12:39 AM

give it to me, its the only thing left to do.... sorry man but its gotta go

ambassador_josh 01-19-2005 12:57 AM

If its mechanical and you cant get it figured out, call Rob, that guy whose house I took you to that night, the one who did my rebuild. He knows his stuff. If its tuning, dont take it to him.

94touring 01-19-2005 12:58 AM

Its fuel related, datalog told me so. He's about to give it a drive with more fuel where he needs it.

Dramon_Killer 01-19-2005 01:19 AM

it's all tuning stuff.

Shane.Trammell 01-19-2005 11:04 AM

might the 2 bar have anything to do with it?

94t said 2 bar map

94touring 01-19-2005 11:11 AM

Yeah asian got a 2 bar map, but its remapped to work, except it would appear his secondary injectors aren't even coming on, or on and off.

He thought he had a 3 bar, so we had it setup for 3 bar and it ran shitty of course. So when he changed it to 2 bar it messed all the timing and fuel maps and still ran shitty. But after redoing the timing and fuel it drove pretty smooth from what he said, except when the secondaries kick on its all messed up and shows no fuel on the datalogging regardless of how much you increase it.

phinsup 01-19-2005 11:12 AM

That sucks.

G2G 01-19-2005 11:21 AM

Try messing around with where the secondaries come on. I know some people have had problems with the secondaries when they were set to come on right at 0vac. Move it forward and back and see if it helps.

Yeah see that was part of the problem, when we found out he had a 2 bar map and switched it to 2 bar, it put the transition point around 10vac. He described it as choppy feeling which is exactly what he gets now when he trys to boost in the secondary side. I think its probably a wiring problem, maybe loose and injecting fuel sometimes.

ambassador_josh 01-19-2005 04:43 PM

Good luck Dramon, dont blow that engine before I get a chance to embarrass you
