Ok so how bad do they really sound? I havent found any options for the 3 to connect right to the radio and im just tired of burning cds to listen to when i have 2 different mp3 players now, although i guess this will make the 6 disk changer pretty useless...

Some of them aren't too bad, belkin makes one that's decent and I think the monster cable ones are pretty good, just stay away from the cheap ebay junk.

alot of factory cd players play mp3 disks now, there is zero need to have 16gigs of music in a car, a few disks full of mp3s is all you need.
|
i need 16 gigs in my car, plus you can use theplaylists you already made and like.

I got tired of having 25 mp3 discs in my car, and still not having my newly acquired stuff always in the car. Its also rather hard to find particular albums with that much music on cd's. I keep 50 gigs in my car via ipod now, and havent touched a cd since I got it. By the way, check with people you know who have them around you. My FM transmitter SUCKS here because almost every frequency is taken or noise from the next frequency up or down. |
as you get older these things dont matter as much, when I was younger I carried every single song I could think of in the car, hundreds of cds, now I dont care anymore.
My new vehicles all have 6 disk in dash changers that play mp3s disks and between the 2 vehicles that have this capability there is a combined 4 disks in both cars, neither of which actually have mp3s on them, lol. 6 disks full of MP3s is alot of music! only way I would carry a IPOD in the car is if it could hide in the glovebox or something, having a ipod in the center console, a adaptor for power, and a wire to hook it to the stereo sounds like way too much clutter and way too much **** to have to put away everytime you park the car so some thieving dickhead does not steal it. |
my deck on the boat, one cable hooks to the ipod and i control it through the deck, not sure how that could be more difficult than cd's, plus like i say I like having my playlists.
